World of Warcraft Players Can Get Discontinued Mists of Pandaria Collectibles, But There's a Catch (5)

Highlights

  • Players can only get Theramore Tabard & Mini Mana Bomb in WoW Remix by finishing Scenario at level 35 due to a bug.
  • The rare collectibles are only mailed at level 35 in WoW Remix, causing confusion among players.
  • The glitch in WoW Remix requires characters to stay at level 35 to receive rewards before a fix is implemented.

World of Warcraft fans can get the Theramore Tabard and Mini Mana Bomb toy in Mists of Pandaria Remix – but only if they complete the Theramore’s Fall Scenario at exactly level 35. While this bug will almost certainly be fixed soon, players hoping to score these discontinued World of Warcraft collectibles now should be aware of the peculiar restrictions surrounding them.

In WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria, fans can obtain all sorts of rare and exclusive World of Warcraft cosmetics and collectibles. This includes the Theramore Tabard and Mini Mana Bomb, two limited-time items that Alliance and Horde players could respectively obtain if they finished their versions of the Theramore’s Fall Scenario before World of Warcraft released Mists of Pandaria. That said, many fans reported they did not receive these items after finishing the Scenario, prompting Blizzard to investigate.

World of Warcraft Players Break the Timeline By Killing Garrosh and Baine Early

Due to the wild power level in Mists of Pandaria Remix, a group of players cause a major butterfly effect in World of Warcraft by killing Garrosh.

Now, some players have discovered these rare collectibles, as well as the strange glitch surrounding their acquisition. After finishing the Scenario, Alliance characters are mailed the Theramore Tabard by Jaina Proudmoore, and Horde players are sent the Mini Mana Bomb by Thalen Songweaver – but only if they complete the World of Warcraft Scenario at exactly level 35. This peculiar requirement is a bug that will likely be fixed before long, but as discovered by Redditor and WoW player Doomhammer24, fans won’t receive the rewards if they are at a higher or lower level at the end of the Scenario.

How to Get the Theramore Tabard and Mini Mana Bomb in WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria

  • Complete the Theramore’s Fall Scenario in WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria at level 35.
    • Characters who hit level 36 during the Scenario will not earn their reward.
    • This is most likely a bug that will be fixed at some point.

The Cloak of Infinite Potential in WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria gives players bonus experience from all sources, meaning wearing it in the Scenario can cause characters to level up. If fans are trying to get these items before World of Warcraft fixes it, they may need to unequip their cloaks to avoid leveling up mid-Scenario.

This odd glitch likely stems from the original unlock requirements for these collectibles. Though Theramore’s Fall could be played at level 90 in Mists of Pandaria, the items could only be earned by fans who finished the Scenario during the Pre-Patch at level 85 – the equivalent of level 35 after World of Warcraft’s last level squish in Shadowlands. Through some fluke, it seems the system only offers these rewards if characters are at the same level as they would have been during the pre-patch. Comical as the bug might be, hopefully, World of Warcraft can fix the problem soon so players won’t miss out on getting these awesome items while they still can.
