Hero Telugu 2022 Movie Review Ibomma (2024)

Following the success of Rowdy Boys, Ashok Galla makes his film debut with HERO. Let's see how the film performs now that it's been released.

Story:

Arjun (Ashok Galla), a struggling actor, is head over heels in love with Subbu (Nidhi Agerwal). Arjun receives a package from Mumbai one fine day, containing information of a contract to assassinate Subbu's father (Jagapathi Babu). What is Arjun's next move? What is Subbu's father's relationship to the underworld? How did Arjun manage to save him? The rest of the story is based on this.

Advantages:

The film's theme is intriguing because it spans numerous genres. The first half of the film is thrilling, but the second half is filled with decent humour. Sriram Aditya's screenplay is unique in that it combines simple scenes with engaging storytelling.

Ashok Galla creates a good first impression and is excellent in his job. He doesn't go overboard and is in tune with the film's plot and conflict. His delivery of language, dances, and fights are all excellent. He will go a long way in his profession if he works on his rigid body language. It's also lovely to see Ashok dancing to superstar Krishna's tunes.

Jagapathi Babu is cast in an intriguing role and performs admirably throughout the film. His humorous timing was excellent, especially in the second half. Brahmaji's performance as a mock action hero is pretty amusing and generates a lot of laughs. Vennela Kishore, Naresh, and the rest of the supporting actors perform an excellent job in their respective parts. Satya is a great comedian who gets a lot of laughs.

Last but not least, Nidhi Agerwal is a glamour treat for the audience who looks stunning. He has a good chemistry with Ashok Galla. The interval bang and all of the moments in which the hero deals with the lost gun are well-designed. The film also ends on a lighthearted note, which is appealing.

Negative Points:

The first half of the picture ends on a dramatic note, with a good sense of suspense. The audience begins to watch the second half in order to learn more about Jagapathi Babu's character's backstory. However, the method in which it is defended appears absurd and excessive.

There will be two dimensions to this angle. A part will become disinterested as soon as it becomes too stupid. However, the rest of the audience will love it and the hilarity that follows.

Furthermore, once this twist is exposed, the reasoning is thrown out the window as the director just cares about entertaining the audience and concludes the climax on a hasty note.

Technical Considerations:

The film's music is quite good, as all of the songs are well-shot and do not disrupt the flow in any way. Ghibran's music, on the other hand, is the best and lifts the film. Dialogues are entertaining, and the ones composed for Satya, Brahmaji, and Vennela Kishore are particularly amusing. The editing is good, and the film appears to be raunchy. The camera work, set design, and production values are all excellent.

Sriram Aditya, the director, has done an excellent job with the picture. He has done an excellent job of showcasing Ashok Galla and does not make him overact in any way. In the second half, he uses a riveting screenplay to mix crisp thrills with humour and adds enjoyable components to the plot.

Verdict:

Overall, HERO is an entertaining thriller with some good comedy and thrilling action in the first half. Ashok Galla creates a strong first impression, and the songs are enjoyable. The film has a huge twist that, when revealed, seems ridiculous. HERO has enough masala moments to save this Sankranti and concludes as a lovely time pass watch if you ignore this part.
